A few women from the ward started a little co-op preschool for our kids. Kate was thrilled to go to "school" like Eli.

Wolf Badge
Eli earned his wolf badge over the summer. He went scout camp, and earned lots of stuff! He was pretty excited about it all the loops and pins and arrows and stuff he was able to adorn on his scout shirt.

Fallen Tree
Late August, one evening, we were playing outside. After we had our fill of mosquito bites we all ventured inside. All the windows were open due to a bought of cooler weather. I asked Josh to take out the trash and low and behold this is what we saw. A tree that had fallen in our backyard right were the kids were playing. SCARY!!! The weird thing was there was no wind, and we didn't even hear it with the windows open.

Sam 4 Weeks
Little Sam got slammed with baby acne, eczema, and balding. It was a wonderful "welcome to earth" present. I only got a few shots of him during this time that captured a little of his cuteness.

Grandma's Visit
Grandma came to see little Sam when he was two weeks old. Eli and Kate were thrilled to have her here. It was wonderful to have an extra set of hands and someone to love the older two kids so I could concentrate on loving my new little baby. Connie was a huge help and it was hard to let her go back home.
Kate loved to sing while Grandma played the piano.
Kate is a runner. This little lady runs everywhere. She can run around this track 4 times before she shows signs of slowing.

The Swing
The swing is Sam's first true love. When he starts to fuss and I've tried all the mom tricks; rocking, burping, changing diapers, feeding, bouncing, and they all fail... I place his little sweet body in the swing and the fussing stops.
